United World International School is looking for a Primary School Counselor/Psychologist to support the emotional, social, and behavioural well-being of students from Grade 0 to Grade 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling support for primary school students.
  • Support students with emotional, social, behavioural, and adjustment-related concerns.
  • Consult with teachers on classroom strategies and student well-being.
  • Communicate with parents and provide guidance when needed.
  • Plan and deliver preventive SEL activities, workshops, or class sessions.
  • Provide teachers and parents with seminars and training on child psychology and related topics.
  • Participate in student screening as part of the admissions process, including school readiness screening for applicants to Grade 0 and Grade 1.
  • Participate in school events, assemblies, well-being initiatives, and student support activities.
  • Collaborate with the Special Psychologist, Lead Psychologist, teachers, and leadership team.
  • Follow school safeguarding and child protection procedures.
    Maintain confidential records and documentation of student support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with children and/or providing counseling support.
  • Strong understanding of child development, emotional well-being, and behaviour support.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English and Russian.
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist is an advantage.
